Cepsa confirms the strength of its compliance system with the renewal of AENOR's anti-bribery and criminal compliance certification

Cepsa has once again obtained the AENOR certifications that verify and accredit the adequately designed criminal and anti-bribery compliance system that complies with the UNE 19601 and UNE-ISO 37001 reference standards, which the company uses to effectively maintains a culture of integrity, transparency, and regulatory compliance throughout its organization. These milestones are part of the company's commitment to achieving its 2030 ‘Positive Motion’ strategy, aligned with sustainability.

The two certifications highlight the company’s implementation of an effective organizational and management model that reduces the risk of committing crimes and bribery practices. Specifically, the UNE 19601 standard recognizes best practices to prevent and detect possible crimes in organizations, while the ISO 37001 international standard determines the general conditions to be utilized by organizations to improve constantly in the fight against possible corporate bribery practices.

Cepsa thus continues to be at the forefront of its sector in terms of its commitment to best practices in ethics and compliance after becoming, in 2018, one of the first companies in its sector in Europe and the first in Spain to obtain ISO 37001 certification, which accredits the measures implemented in its anti-bribery management system.
