Safety
At Cepsa, because we care about everyone's safety, we have a unique safety culture in place. To this end, we focus on people, processes, facilities, and transportation, and we collaborate with European industrial associations in the sector.
Occupational safety
To reduce the risk of accidents, in addition to building safe facilities and performing maintenance controls, we have a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Policy in place. Furthermore, we develop plans to reinforce the culture of safety and risk prevention, and we have a safety procedure that affects all our centers, professionals, and workers.
Process safety
To facilitate constant improvement and attempt to prevent industrial accidents, we have implemented the Process Safety Management System, which includes the guidelines promoted by the Energy Institute. We also define the principles to be followed, train our experts, and regularly evaluate processes to adequately control risks.
Transportation safety
In the transportation of goods, there may be risks of accidents. To prevent them, we ensure that all our operators are trained in safety, and we provide them with the necessary guidelines and tools to guarantee their safety and that of their surroundings. For maritime safety, we also follow the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG), which regulates the transportation of dangerous goods at sea.
Health and well-being of our professionals
Protecting them is our main safety objective. With the support of our Medical Services, we guarantee that occupational risks are suitable for the physical and mental conditions of each professional at all times, and we promote a healthy and wholesome life. We conduct training activities to raise awareness about risk on the road, and we hold fitness activities such as the “Tu Salud Nos Mueve” [Your Health Keeps Us Moving] program.
