During the opening day, the acting Minister of Transport, Mobility, and Urban Agenda, Raquel Sánchez, and the Minister of Housing, Infrastructure, and Transport of the Community of Madrid, Jorge Rodrigo, and the Madrid City Councilor, Reyes Maroto, visited Cepsa's booth to learn about all the company's progress in its Positive Motion strategy, which encompasses the entire mobility ecosystem.
Similarly, the company will participate tomorrow, October 25, in a presentation to explain its plan for the development of green molecules, which are crucial for the decarbonization of air, maritime, and road transport. In this panel led by Carlos Barrasa, the Commercial & Clean Energies director, the company will stress the need to produce green hydrogen and second-generation biofuels as more than 50% of energy demand, such as for aircraft or large ships, cannot be electrified.
On Thursday, Isabel Gorgoso, New Mobility Director at Cepsa will participate in the "New ecosystems of sustainable mobility" round table where she will explain how the company aims to develop a network of ultra-fast chargers at more than 1,000 service stations by 2030 to become a leader in this segment in Spain and Portugal.
Finally, also on October 26, Pierre-Yves Sachet, Director of Mobility & New Commerce will be present at the "Transforming service stations into spaces of ultra-convenience" roundtable, outlining Cepsa's strategy to transform its network of service stations, the second largest in Spain and Portugal, into digitized spaces that will offer a wide variety of ultra-convenience and food services. They will provide access to a range of fresh food, parapharmacy, e-commerce, parcel collection points, and sustainable vehicle washing services, as well as multi-energy solutions for roadside refueling.
