Ms. Alice Acuña

Alice Acuña joined Cepsa on the 1st of Dec 2023 as Executive Vice President of Trading and is part of the company's Executive Management Committee. She is a seasoned leader with extended global experience in the energy industry.

Before Cepsa, she was the Senior Vice President of LNG Marketing and Trading at Shell, based in Singapore. She was responsible for building and optimizing Shell's global LNG trading and supply portfolio where she delivered exceptional results and a clear strategy during one of the most volatile periods in the industry. During her over 27 years Shell career she also held various senior management positions based in Spain, the Netherlands, the UK, and Paraguay. She led regional and global teams in business areas spanning from Trading, Supply, Strategy, Lubricants and Aviation. She has also held positions as a board member and director in various Shell subsidiaries.

Alice has a postgraduate degree in Strategy and Innovation from SAID/Oxford Business School, a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Cambridge and a degree in Business from the Catholic University of Paraguay. She has dual Paraguayan and Spanish nationality and is the mother of two children.
