Winner Nalco Española
Nalco Española, an Ecolab company specializing in water and process management solutions, has been awarded the top prize for its collaboration with Moeve to promote water circularity. This project aligns with our 2025 commitment, announced in May 2022, to reduce the extraction of freshwater in water-stressed regions by 20% (compared to 2019 levels).
Second prize Adiquímica
Adiquímica, a company specialized in industrial water treatment, has won second prize for its project on the sustainable reuse of purge water from cooling towers through reverse osmosis. This solution reduces freshwater intake and minimizes the discharge of salt water.
Third prize ISTOBAL
The company, specializing in the design, manufacturing, and commercialization of car wash and care solutions, has been recognized for its innovative project incorporating water recycling systems in car wash facilities.
A panel of experts evaluated all the projects based on criteria such as originality, feasibility, social impact, and market potential.
Additionally, other factors like respect for the environment, the use of new technologies, job creation, and community development were also positively considered.
