At Cepsa we are committed to sustainable development, creating shared value, and renewable energies in line with our Positive Motion strategy.
Renewable projects should be an opportunity for the development of the local communities in which we are present, and we want to promote measures that generate a positive impact on the territories.
With our program "Sumamos Energías", we want to work hand in hand with all municipalities that want to join in the design and implementation of actions that generate value and promote socioeconomic development and the natural capital of their municipality. A program, based on co-design and transparent, proactive dialogue that seeks to guarantee the integration of our renewable installations with the environment, involving the public and encouraging collaboration with the administrations.
We devise our projects in the communities as long-term relationships where sustainability is present at all stages. To this end, we have made three commitments that are essential to any project:
By promoting the 'Sumamos Energías' (Combining Energies) program, we also contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda. Specifically, to SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

We promoted three new photovoltaic projects in the municipalities of Arenales de San Gregorio and Campo de Criptana in Ciudad Real with an estimated power of 400 megawatts. The installation of these photovoltaic plants, which begin construction in 2025, will entail an investment of more than 280 million euros and the creation of more than 420 job.
