We develop next generation sustainable, intelligent bituminous materials that are able to adapt to the increase in loads of road surfaces.
How did we do it?
We adapt the treatment of binders to prolong the life of road surfaces and we produce bitumens with natural additives that are more resistant to ageing. This helps us to produce quality bituminous mixes that are capable of being used on roads, airports and ports.
The result
- New types of natural, more economical and sustainable antioxidant additives
- New additives to improve adhesiveness and lower the production temperature of bituminous mixes
- Intelligent bitumens that are capable of repairing themselves through temperature induction techniques, magnetic fields and the modification of the binder on a micro-nano scale.
- New rejuvenating bio-additives capable of reestablishing the chemical properties of the bitumen
