CODE OF ETHICS AND CONDUCT
To reinforce our identity and carry out our work as a company of integrity and responsibility towards society, all Cepsa professionals are guided by the Code of Ethics and Conduct and corporate policies. It establishes the appropriate behavior for all our employees and stakeholders. In addition, we have an Audit, Compliance, Ethics and Risk Committee that is responsible for promoting and enforcing compliance with the commitments established therein.
KNOW OUR INTEGRITY CHANNEL
We are committed to compliance with regulations, our internal rules, as well as the Code of Ethics and Conduct. If you believe that there may be any irregular behavior or behavior contrary to these rules, you can communicate it to us through the Integrity Channel.You can communicate anonymously if you wish. The operating principles of the Integrity Channel are confidentiality, no retaliation to those who report in "good faith" and independence, as established in our Integrity Channel Policy.
A channel open to employees and any interest group to raise doubts, make queries or report any alleged irregularity or act contrary to Cepsa's internal and external regulations.
All communications can be made both anonymously and personally, and all information will be treated with the maximum guarantees of confidentiality, privacy and security.
We believe in our objectives, values and ethical principles that demand a high degree of commitment to compliance with the law and internal regulations, so we have an obligation to know and understand the principles set out in our Code of Ethics and Conduct and apply them in our daily actions.
The questions, doubts or information raised about alleged irregularities will help us to have the necessary information to act on them and continue to improve day by day.
Any fact contrary to the general principles of action and ethical values contained in the Code of Ethics and Conduct, alleged breaches of the internal and external regulations governing the Company, alleged breaches of any legal regulations that constitute serious or very serious administrative or criminal breaches, as well as all the breaches included in Law 2/2023 of 20 February on Whistleblower Protection.
The Integrity Channel is not a tool for managing commercial queries or complaints. For these matters, the company has other means of customer service available. Nor is it the channel for day-to-day complaints or discrepancies that may arise in the employment relationship. For these issues, whether individual or collective, the Company has other channels of communication. Finally, it should not be used in emergencies.; in case of imminent risk to the lives of people, the Public Emergency Services should be contacted.
The information is channeled through Ethics Point, an application managed by NAVEX, which has the necessary security measures against any security risk.
Only certain people in Cepsa have access to the application, and all communications are treated with the utmost confidentiality.
All personal data provided to the Integrity Channel will be treated in accordance with the law and in no case will it be used for purposes other than the purpose of the information provided. More information can be found in the Integrity Channel's Privacy Policy.
The Ethics and Compliance Office will initiate the analysis of the information provided and, if appropriate, will transfer it for investigation or proceed to file it. The investigative team or person conducting the investigation has the necessary skills, autonomy and independence to carry out the investigation of the facts with all the guarantees of objectivity and independence.
Our Code of Ethics and Conduct expressly prohibits acts constituting retaliation, including threats of retaliation and attempts to retaliate against whistleblowers.
Those responsible for managing the Integrity Channel will monitor the entire process from its initiation to its conclusion and subsequent follow-up, ensuring that no one who reports a suspected breach in good faith suffers retaliation.
Any act of retaliation may lead to the application of the disciplinary regime.
