IOT LAB
Our Research Center houses Cepsa's first Internet of Things (IoT) laboratory. The laboratory has different specialized areas, such as virtual and augmented reality, radiofrequency, consumption and life of devices, among others.

Cepsa’s Chemical plant in Palos de la Frontera has managed to reduce the steam consumption in the Phenol 3 plant by using two heat streams of the Cumene 2 plant. The construction of two heat exchangers will allow an estimated steam saving of 31,920 Tm/year, which means avoiding the emission of 5,554 t of CO2 equivalent.
