FundaciĆ³n Cepsa has signed a strategic advisory agreement with the IUCN as advisors in the sustainable energy transition, giving importance to biodiversity projects and the protection of water resources.
We also support the clean-up sanititation initiative to create a National Natural Park, in association with National Natural Parks of Colombia s Special Administrative Unit.
SOS CARETTA - FISHERMEN FOR BIODIVERSITY
This FundaciĆ³n Cepsa project, which is taking place on the coasts of Cadiz and Huelva (Spain), aims to promote, through collaboration with the fishing industry, the conservation and rescue of sea turtles, such as the loggerhead turtle (Caretta caretta) and the leatherback turtle (Dermochelys coriacea), classified as vulnerable to extinction according to the red list of the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature).
